THIS WEEK’S TOP THREE
1. We continue to take up collections of non-perishable food, clothing, and toiletries for Crossfire Ministries in the green container towards the back of the sanctuary. This month we are focusing on school supplies. There are backpacks hanging at the church for you to help fill for students in need. Please bring pencils, notebooks, crayons, erasers, or anything else that might be useful for a student. We will be collecting in these backpacks through July 15 TODAY. If you are interested in volunteering, please visit their Volunteer Page here. For other ways to support their ministry, visit here.

2.  August 5 will be SpringsLife Kids Takeover. Experience what happens each week downstairs as Pastor David and the kids lead us in worship and learning.  We celebrate the Lord’s Table on the first Sabbath of every month toward the end of our gathered worship service. We will be having Congregational Meeting (Information) immediately after our Gathered Worship on August 5. The Pastors will be sharing what has been happening over the past few months and some plans for the future. There will also be a time for some Q&A. Next SpringsLife Youth Team meeting is August 5 after Gathered Worship.

3. We will be celebrating Heritage Sabbath on August 26. Our guest speaker will be Rev. Nicholas Kersten, Director of Education & History for Seventh Day Baptists. Come and help us celebrate our heritage and history. Our next planned church fellowship will be a meal after gathered worship on August 26 to celebrate our Heritage Sabbath. More details to come. There will be a Diaconate training and seminar on August 26 after Gathered Worship and during the meal for anyone interested in serving as a Deacon or in knowing what the role of Deacon is.
